Fruit Processing
When Cœur de Fruit was established in Perpignan in 2006, its founding represented the culmination of four years of research and development undertaken in conjunction with the Centre Technique de la Conservation des Produits Alimentaires (CTCPA) in Avignon.
The Compagnie Fruitière achieved a “first” worldwide with a factory that produces fruit bars in various formats, made directly from fresh fruits selected for their flavour.
Marketed directly to the industrial and restaurant catering sector and to supermarkets, the product range includes a wide range of cut fruits.
In 2009, Cœur de Fruit obtained BRC (British Retail Consortium) certification, a benchmark for food processing industries.
