More than 80 hectares of tomato plants grow in greenhouses along the river in the Saint-Louis region of Senegal. Its environmentally-sensitive approach to agriculture involves cultivation in ordinary soil, drip irrigation, fertilization by bees and the use of insect nets.

These crisp, juicy tomatoes ripen naturally under Senegal’s hot sun. Cherry, olivette and cocktail tomatoes are all found under the “Doona” label.
